Canadian indie-rock collective Broken Social Scene's fourth studio album, Forgiveness Rock Record, is exactly what fan's have come to expect: slow, atmospheric and deeply layered with midnight potsmoker chillness.

Music fest this year was a sonic cornucopia of tasty hipsterdom, hip hop and ska. Providing something for everyone is not typically the surest means to success for a musical production, but it seemed to work for Music fest, which drew over 5,000 students, according to Samantha Snow of Hofstra Concerts.

There is no debating that fashion designer Vera Wang is a rare talent. Known for being Vogue's youngest fashion editor ever, Wang has made a splash in the industry with sleek, sexy and sophisticated looks. Like most designers, she has ventured into the land of cosmetics, creating an array of fragrances.  Her "Princess" collection attracts the youthful crowd with upbeat and flirty scents. While the original title product impresses, the latest addition "Glam Princess" fails to deliver.
 

In theory, "The Losers" has many of the elements that should, by any means, make it a standout popcorn flick: a diverse, eclectic ensemble, a revenge story and some stirring action sequences. It even has the inherent advantage of stellar source material, having been adapted from Andy Diggle's Vertigo comic series of the same name. Yet, director Sylvain White ("Stomp the Yard") has managed to create a stupidly fun, but rather anemic action movie that fails to combine the aforementioned elements into a convincing and coherent whole.
 

For Celine F/W 2010, designer Phoebe Philo adhered to the book of minimalism – there were no ostentatious colors, no signs of decadent embroidery — and frankly, there was little hint of the flirtation and girlishness that had been synonymous with Philo when she had designed for Chloe. The Celine Fall/Winter collection has been Philo's second collection since she had left Chloe in 2006.
