Wiktoria Fronc, a sophomore forward from London, England, is off to an outstanding start in her second season with the Hofstra University women’s soccer team.
The Hofstra University women’s soccer team defeated the Northeastern University Huskies 1-0 this past Sunday to improve to 8-3-1 overall and 5-1-1 in conference play. The Huskies fall to 5-2-4 overall and 3-1-3 in conference play.
The Hofstra Women’s soccer team traveled to Charleston, South Carolina, to face the College of Charleston Cougars in a scoreless draw in a Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) matchup on Thursday, Sept. 21. Hofstra is now unbeaten in six games in a row.
On Sunday, Sept. 18, the Hofstra University Pride women’s soccer team traveled to Long Island rival, the Stony Brook University Seawolves, for a Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) matchup where the Pride won 2-1, extending their win streak to five.
On Thursday, Sept. 14, the Hofstra University Pride women's soccer team continued their Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) campaign against the Drexel University Dragons, winning 3-2 and extending their win streak to four. With the win, the Pride improve to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
On Sunday, Sept. 10, the Hofstra University Pride women’s soccer team defeated the Campbell University Fighting Camels 1-0 in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) opener. Midfielder Wiktoria Fronc scored the winner in the 52nd minute to make it three goals in three games for the sophomore.
On Sunday, Sept. 3, the Hofstra University women’s soccer team kicked off their home opener with a 1-0 win against the Saint Joseph’s University Hawks at Hofstra Soccer Stadium. The Pride improved to 3-1 on the season. Prior to the start of the game, Hofstra was recognized for winning their second straight Coastal Athletic Conference (CAA) title.
With another winning season under head coach Simon Riddiough in 2022, the Hofstra Pride women’s soccer team focuses on their 2023 campaign, as they look to capture their third straight Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) championship and a bid to the NCAA tournament.
On Friday, Aug. 25, the Hofstra Pride women’s soccer team traveled to New York, New York, to continue their 2023 campaign, falling 3-0 to the Columbia University Lions at Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium.
On Sunday, Aug. 20, the Hofstra Pride women’s soccer team traveled to Piscataway, New Jersey, to continue their 2023 campaign, defeating the Rutgers University Scarlet Knights 1-0 at Yurcak Field.
