Giordano graduates from player to coach

This past August, after a successful collegiate career, Meghan Giordano was named as an assistant coach for the Hofstra University softball team. Many athletes aspire to play their sport as long as possible; some even dream to continue their legacy as a coach and give back to the community, but that’s not something that always comes to fruition. 

Albert Kang helping the Pride conquer the CAA once again

Albert Kang was picked up in the spring transfer portal this year for the Hofstra University men’s soccer team. Given his experience, Kang has surpassed expectations and then some with his impactful technical play and extended amounts of playing time. The midfielder’s presence at every inch across the field has been beneficial. The connection between his style of play and the system in which he’s involved has been second-to-none.

The Resurrection of Adrian St. Germain

Adrian St. Germain trained his whole life to be a great wrestler. In 2019, the three-time high school state champion experienced the culmination of his 14 years of work when he started wrestling at Hofstra University. He redshirted in his first year, and in January 2020, he won his first collegiate match. Things were going well, and he was just starting the wrestling career he had always dreamed of. Less than a year later, though, that was all taken away, and St. Germain faced the hardest challenge of his life. Confronting a long recovery and an uncertain future, the lessons he learned from wrestling would help him exceed every expectation.
