Student Spotlight: Sky Hume

Meet Sky Hume, a music business major with a concentration in marketing. Sky also minors in journalism and creative writing. Follow along for a productive Monday in Sky’s life.

Sky’s Monday began in Bits and Bytes, an on-campus eatery, where she completed remote work for her internship.

Sky works at WRHU, the in-house radio station at Hofstra. She is currently mentoring an incoming student who is interested in her music slots.

Sky typically enjoys her lunch back at Bits and Bytes, where she gets chicken tenders and fries.

Although she doesn’t have classes on Monday or Wednesday, Sky fills her free time working with classmates on homework and projects.

For Sky, every Monday ends the same way— with ‘Unispan’. Unispan is the on-campus record label where Sky continues her work in the music business industry.
