Giordano's extra inning RBI gives softball the 9-8 win in series opener vs Drexel

The resilience of the Hofstra softball team was on full display on Friday, April 12, when they came back to defeat the Drexel University Dragons on the road by a score of 9-8 in eight innings. The Pride scored the game’s final five runs, bringing in four of them to tie it up at eight in the seventh inning before adding a ninth and final run to secure their victory in the extra inning. 

Northeastern bats overwhelm Pride in 7-3 loss

Despite a strong fourth inning with multiple runs for the Pride, the Hofstra baseball team fell to the Northeastern University Huskies in their series finale on Sunday, April 7, at Friedman Diamond. The 7-3 loss moves the Pride to 5-21 for the season and 1-5 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play. Northeastern climbs over the .500 mark to 16-15 overall (6-3 CAA). 

Myint's success continues as softball beats Stony Brook

The Hofstra softball team may not have struck first, but they bounced back from an early deficit to beat Stony Brook University 6-1. The win snaps a two-game losing streak and gives the Pride their 16th win of the season, one game above .500. Mackenzie Suto got the starting nod for the Pride, pitching a complete game and earning the win.
