Statement clarifying our editorial independence

In the summer of 2020, a new media organization, The Hofstra Clocktower, joined Hofstra’s campus. The Clocktower was founded by a member of The Hofstra Chronicle and there has been some confusion about the connection between The Chronicle and The Clocktower.

The Hofstra Chronicle and The Hofstra Clocktower are two unaffiliated, editorially independent media organizations on campus. 

We look forward to collaborating with The Hofstra Clocktower, as well as other media organizations on campus, in the future – whether it be in person or virtually.

We thank you for your continued support throughout 2020 and are extremely excited to share new and engaging content with the Hofstra community as 2021 begins.
