ABC’s “Disney Family Singalong” provided magic and family fun to temporarily distract viewers from the COVID-19 crisis on Thursday, April 16. It was a huge hit, as the singalong gained 10.3 million viewers from various ages.

Ryan Seacrest hosted the hour-long special, with appearances from the Broadway cast of Disney's “Aladdin” along with Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera, Derek Hough, Julianne Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Little Big Town, Donny Osmond, Thomas Rhett, Amber Riley, John Stamos, Bobby Bones, Luke Evans, Zac Efron, Elle Fanning, Darren Criss and many more.

Beyoncé surprised Disney fans as she made an appearance, dedicating her virtual performance of “When You Wish Upon A Star” to health care workers. “Hello, to all of the families across the world, I’m very proud and honored to be a part of the Disney family,” said Beyoncé, who voiced Nala in the 2019 remake of “The Lion King.

The special event’s primary goal was to raise awareness about the Feeding America campaign, which offers supplies and resources for families affected by COVID-19. "If there's something that we've all learned in the past few weeks, it is to cherish every moment and the importance of connection, whether through laughter, stories or music. We hope that we can help create some new unforgettable moments in everyone’s home in a way that only the magic of Disney can," said Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment.

ABC’s “Disney Family Singalong” is currently available to stream on Hulu and the ABC app.
