After 25 matches, only Keaton Kluever and Jurius Clark remained from the Hofstra University wrestling team for day one of the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) Championship on Friday, March 8.
A local rivalry may be forming as the Hofstra University wrestling team won a close dual meet 22-14 against the Long Island University (LIU) Sharks.
The Hofstra University wrestling team continued their dual meet win streak with a 27-9 victory over Penn West Edinboro on Friday, Dec. 22. The Pride won seven of the 10 weights with three major decision victories and one pin. The win moves the Pride to 3-2 on the season after their wins earlier in the week over Morgan State University and Bloomsburg University.
After a 10-day hiatus, the Hofstra University wrestling team was back in action in Baltimore, Maryland, on Wednesday, Dec. 20, where they beat the Morgan State University Bears (MSU) and the Bloomsburg University Huskies in dual meet action.
The Hofstra University wrestling team lost their first dual meet of the season on Sunday, Nov. 19, by a score of 51-0 against the No. 6 Ohio State University Buckeyes. The Pride fell to 0-1 in the campaign while the Buckeyes went up to 4-0.
