This probably isn’t quite what fans of the Hofstra men’s lacrosse team expected to see when the regular season came to an end and the CAA’s top four teams gathered to compete for a conference title and a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Hofstra Pride men’s lacrosse team dropped its final game of the regular season to the University of Massachusetts 14-6 on Friday night as the Pride failed to come back after a 10-goal streak by the Musketeers in the middle of the contest.
The bats woke up in a big way for the Hofstra softball team on Saturday, as the Pride launched three home runs over two games to pick up a pair of wins over Boston University and the University of Massachusetts at Bill Edwards Stadium.
