Quarterbacks across the NFL find new homes in the offseason

After an unusual yet entertaining 2020 NFL season, several teams went into the offseason looking to make some changes to their rosters. In particular, many teams wanted a change at the quarterback position. Between trades, free agent signings and the draft, this offseason saw arguably the most movement of quarterbacks ever. It didn’t take long to have the first of these moves take place, however, as a blockbuster trade was made the week of the Super Bowl.

2020 NFL Draft Winners and Losers

The 2020 NFL Draft took place from Thursday, April 23, to Saturday, April 25. Some teams and players were put into better situations to succeed. Other teams and players were put in worse situations. For some, we will not know until next year or a few years down the line if this draft helped them.

10 years later: Reminiscing on the Hofstra football program

en years after the termination of Hofstra University’s football program, alumni have mixed feelings on the decision. “I think it was a huge travesty,” said Michael Marsalis, a member of the graduating class of 1995. “That was the ‘out’ for [many people]: To be able to be a part of a football program and improve their lives on an athletic level but also to be exposed to a wonderful university like Hofstra.”

Urban Meyer: A career of success

It was a bitter cold morning on the Ohio State University campus on Tuesday, Dec. 4. Fans and athletes were still disappointed in the playoff selection committee after the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes were left out of the College Football Playoffs after defeating then-ranked No. 4 University of Michigan on Nov. 24 and No. 22 Northwestern University on Dec. 2 to be crowned Big 10 Champions. However, after a morning news conference on Dec. 4, the remaining pieces of their sewn-up hearts would be shattered. Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer shocked the NCAA world announcing his retirement as coach following their Rose Bowl game against the University of Washington.
