All in Men's Lacrosse
After suffering back-to-back losing seasons for only the second time in his 18-year tenure, head coach Seth Tierney says that the men's lacrosse team will look different in 2024.
This year’s edition of the HEADstrong Foundation Nick Colleluori Classic was held at a rain-soaked James M. Shuart Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 7.
James M. Shuart Stadium had a preview of playoff hockey when the Hofstra Pride dueled the Stony Brook Seawolves for a chance in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) playoffs on Saturday, April 29. It was win or go home for both teams, in which Stony Brook narrowly came out victorious 11-10.
“Coming in, you really don’t know what to expect. You hear a lot of stories but you’re not really sure.”
The Hofstra Pride men’s lacrosse team got an upset win over the Drexel University Dragons in a close contest, 8-7, at Vidas Field in Philadelphia, PA, on Saturday, April 15. Hofstra is now 4-8 overall having won two of their last three games while they improve to 2-3 in conference games.
