U.S. News and Princeton Review weigh in on the University's business programs

The Frank G. Zarb School of Business recently received a prestigious ranking as one of the nations best business schools. According to the U.S. News and World Report and the Princeton Review, The Zarb School of Business was ranked 121 out of all Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business undergraduate business programs.

The Princeton Review used student's opinions of the school to help with the rankings. According to the Review, Zarb students credit the University's location along with the student body to its success.

When asked to describe their work ethic, students said that they were "hardworking and driven," and "very involved in clubs and activities."

The Review also states that the school's proximity to New York City adds to its achievement. According to University Relations, the fact that the University is 40 minutes away from one of the business capitals of the world provides students with many opportunities during and after their time at the school.

Additionally, the report applauded the University's state of the art facilities, including the trading room complete with Bloomberg terminals and internet access at every seat.

Salvatore F. Sodano, Dean of The Zarb School of Business, was impressed by the University's ranking in comparison to the large amount of other business schools in the nation.

"We have established an academic environment that encourages students to excel in their field of study and surpass their personal goals," said Sodano. "We recognize the importance of educational achievement and provide our students with all the tools necessary to compete in today's competitive global market."

It was these traits that added to the decision of ranking the Zarb School of Business as one of the best in the nation this year.
