Benson Boone’s debut studio pop-rock album, titled “Fireworks & Rollerblades,” was released on Friday, April 5. The 21-year-old upstart has risen to prominence over the past year with notable songs such as “Ghost Town” and “In the Stars.” As his following continued to grow on platforms such as TikTok, his first album received more anticipation than he could’ve ever hoped for.
Viewers on Tik Tok and Instagram Reels should keep their eye on rising star Taylor Acorn. The Nashville-based artist has been garnering attention for her covers of rock and emo songs as well as her original songs. In March 2021, her acoustic cover of Papa Roach’s “Scars” even caught the attention of the band’s guitarist.
The video app TikTok has amassed over 800 million active users worldwide and has been downloaded over 2 billion times.
A deal between software company Oracle and department store Walmart came late Saturday, Sept. 19, just hours before TikTok was supposed to be taken off the App Store in the United States.
